Prianthi Roy is an expert in macroeconomic and political forecasting. Since 2018 she has worked as the lead analyst for central and eastern Europe, euro zone countries and the Nordic economies.
Prianthi provides political, policy and macroeconomic outlook for countries and helps corporations and governments to monitor and anticipate game-changing trends by offering independent, impartial insight. She has won more than ten awards for her forecasting skills.
She also heads the EIU’s proprietary Business Environment Rankings and long-term forecasts and frequently publishes white papers and hosts webinars to inform clients about the latest business outlook. Prianthi comes from a background in development economics and has a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Manchester and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Singapore Management University with a double major in Political Science.
