Senior Analyst
Dominic is an analyst in the EIU’s Middle East and Africa team, based in the company’s London office. He is the primary analyst for Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Oman, Yemen and Kuwait, responsible for forecasting major economic, political and policy trends in these countries and the wider Gulf and Levant regions. Dominic was also the regional lead for the EIU’s Democracy Index, helping shape the organisation’s views on the health of democracy in the Middle East.
Prior to joining the EIU in 2022, Dominic worked for a number of years as country risk analyst elsewhere in the private sector, and as a senior research analyst at a London-based think tank. Dominic has a MSc in Middle East Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies, and a BA in Modern History and Politics from the University of Liverpool.
