Europe dominates the top of our ESG rankings, accounting for nine of the top ten countries that receive an overall A rating—defined as a country that has a significant positive impact on sustainability. Notably low in the rankings are emerging states with poor governance, including Sudan (150th), Iran (149th) and Yemen (148th).
